DAY 1: ARRIVE AUCKLAND-CITY OF SAILS

On arrival you will be met and transferred by private car to your hotel. Depart on Auckland'sMust-Do Four, incorporating Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World, Sky Tower and a cruise on the harbor. See the Auckland Zoo and Native New Zealand Encounter Show. Arrive at your hotel around 5:30pm. Stroll the viaduct for alfresco eateries and seafood delights (dinner, own expense). Overnight: Auckland, Mercure Auckland (standard), CityLife Auckland (first class) or Langham Hotel Auckland (deluxe) for 2 nights

DAY 2: AUCKLAND AT LEISURE

Many suggestions for you today; there are day tours available to the Bay of Islands, perhaps a cruise over to Waiheke Island or just shopping around the city center. Ask for recommendations from our South Pacific specialists (activities own expense).

DAY 3: AUCKLAND-ROTORUA VIA WAITOMO CAVES

This morning, you will be met by your driver/guide as you travel south through rich farmland to Waitomo. After lunch (included), begin your guided tour of the renowned Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. Reboard the coach and continue to Rotorua, arriving at approximately 4:30pm.

Overnight: Rotorua, Heritage Rotorua (standard), Novotel Lakeside (first class) or Millennium Hotel (deluxe) for 2 nights (L) Option: For a different experience, you can visit the Ruakuri Cave. Discover ancient fossils, myths and legends during an underground walking tour.

DAY 4: ROTORUA/MAORI HANGI & CONCERT

This morning, meet your driver/guide for transport to all of Rotorua's leading attractions. Entrance is included into Te Puia Thermal Reserve, Rainbow Springs & Agrodome Sheep Show and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Return to the hotel around 12:00pm. Tonight, learn about the culture and art of New Zealand'snative population-the Maori. Travel to a traditional Marae (Meeting Place) and enjoy a cultural performance and traditional Maori "Hangi" (feast). (D)

DAY 5: DEPART ROTORUA

Depart your hotel this morning by shuttle and transfer to the airport to connect with your onward flight (airfare not included).
